Children 6 and older are welcome to climb as long as they are supervised directly by an adult (18+).
Supervision ratios are as follows:
6-7 years old : 1:1
8-10 years old : 1:2
11-13 years old : 1:2
Please note that our facility caters to a wide range of climbers of varying ages and experience levels. While we all love to have fun, climbers must be ready to share our space in a safe and respectable way.
All minors (under 18) must have a waiver completed by their parent/legal guardian.

The 8-12 year old recreational group is geared towards our youngest climbers. Lessons will be structured around a mix of games, technique lessons and of course, lots of time on the wall!
New climbers will learn the basics of technique and footwork, while those with previous experience will get to build and improve on fundamentals. Emphasis will be placed on exploration of movement and fostering an enjoyment of the sport.
All experience levels welcomed.

The 13-16 year old recreation group is a great fit for teens who are looking to explore the sport of climbing in a welcoming environment. Lessons will center around a mix of technique lessons, group activities and lots of time on the wall.
New climbers will learn the basics of technique and footwork, while those with previous experience will get to build and improve on fundamentals. This class offers the perfect mix of physical, mental and social engagement that teens crave.

Our Pre-Competitive program serves as a stepping stone to our Competitive Team. Pre-Competitive climbers climb once a week with the Recreational Team, and once a week with the Competitive Team.
Climbers will continue to refine fundamental skills, while starting to introduce more advanced movement and a structured training schedule.

Wednesdays 4:30pm-6:30pm (2hrs)
Must have completed at least 1 semester of our Recreational Program (or equivalent)
Shows focus and dedication during class
Can demonstrate fundamental climbing techniques on the wall
Must have a thorough understanding of the sport (terminology, movement vocabulary)
Participation in competitions is not mandatory, but highly encouraged.
Commitment to the entire year (September-June) is expected
Our Competitive climbers climb 2-3 times per week. Athletes at this stage show a high level of dedication and motivation. A well rounded approach will focus on the mental, physical and technical aspects of the sport. A big emphasis is placed on expanding the athlete's versatility and vocabulary of movement. These training sessions will be supplemented by targeted conditioning and strengthening exercises.
Our Sr. Competitive climbers train 3 days per week, including an extra hour on Saturdays. This group consists of our most experienced athletes who are ready to push themselves.
