Temporary Closure

To our valued community of members,

While the Public Health Agency of Canada continues to monitor and provide guidance in regards to the current outbreak of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close Seven Bays. This is a proactive closure in an effort to do our part in slowing down the transmission of COVID-19 in our communities. To be clear, we are not currently aware of any cases of COVID-19 within Seven Bays or within our community of members.

Our priority is always the safety of our members, staff and our community. Maintaining clear and transparent lines of communication during this uncertain time is also very important.

We will be closed temporarily until March 28th, at which time we will make a decision to remain closed or to reopen. We will also provide an update on the opening date for our new gym, Seven Bays Bayer’s Lake, which is currently scheduled for April 11th. Our decision will be based on the updates and guidance provided by the Public Health Agency of Canada and their assessment of the evolving situation across Canada. We will also rely on the guidance of the health and municipal authorities here in Nova Scotia. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation and will provide updates to our member community as they become available.

All memberships will be put on pause for this temporary closure. Cancellation requests will not be possible during this period.

The decision to close is not one we take easily or lightly. The livelihoods of many people, many or all of whom are well known to our members, depend on Seven Bays remaining open. We are committed to supporting our incredible employees throughout this closure, and have already received messages of support from people saying they would like to keep their memberships active during the closure of our gym. Please click on the following link SUPPORT SBB BY KEEPING MY MEMBERSHIP ACTIVE if you would like to support Seven Bays by keeping your membership active during this closure or alternatively you can show your support by visiting our ONLINE STORE

Thank you all very much for your continued love and support of Seven Bays!

Please stay informed, stay calm and stay healthy,

Much love and appreciation for you, our community,

The Seven Bays Bouldering family & crew
