Pre-Competitive Team

Our Pre-Competitive team is geared towards those who want to take their climbing to the next level, and are ready to show a high level of dedication and focus. This program serves as a stepping stone to prospective competitive athletes, as well as climbers who wish to further develop their abilities at a higher level.
A well rounded approach will focus on the mental, physical and technical aspects of the sport. A big emphasis is placed on expanding the athlete's versatility and vocabulary of movement. These training sessions will be supplemented by targeted conditioning and strengthening exercises (mostly body weight).

Participants will also learn to set and follow through with goals. They will learn to train both independently as well as within a group. Team members are encouraged to compete in local and provincial competitions.
